KATANA

A futuristic ad campaign to relaunch the legendary Suzuki KATANA sportbike.

After 40+ years since the original iconic bike was introduced, Suzuki and Italian designer Rodolfo Frascoli set out to create a contemporary interpretation of the original and make another splash in the industry. Needless to say, the launch campaign had to match this endeavor. Working closely with the client and strategy, we landed on the perfect concept for the campaign: CUT AHEAD. We collaborated with one of the industry’s top photographers and put together a solid crew. The campaign's futuristic aesthetic was perfect for shooting at night in downtown LA in the iconic 2nd Street tunnel and the lower Grand Ave section, which was also used in Terminator and Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.
